Office Communicator (OCS) mobile setup

 

How can I use OCS on my windows mobile device?

First download OCS mobile from microsoft, save it to your computer so you can install it on to your device with active sync:

Then connect your windows mobile device to your computer and establish an active sync connection. If you need the latest version of active sync it can be downloaded from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/default.mspx

Once your device is connected to your PC and the active sync connection is established run the OCS mobile install that you downloaded in the first step. Follow the on screen setup instructions.

Now OCS mobile is installed you will see a new icon on your windows mobile device home screen. Select OCS and after it is started select options from the bottom right. On the account tab enter the information in the same format as the screen shot below. Be sure to use your email address as the sign-in address and you can find your domain\username in the advanced tab of mailbox properties in iManage Dashboard. It is also the same as your active sync username.



Now click on the server tab at the bottom. You will use the same OCS server name in both the internal and external server fields. You can find this information on the OCS page in iManage Dashboard.

Click OK from on the top right and now you can sign in.
